Air-Conditioning System
The coach A/C is a CoachAir Australia split system with:
- belt driven, 6-cylinder compressor mounted above the engine in a cabinet
in the front bin
- condensor with two fans above the drivers side, drive and tag axles
- two evaporators with heating coils in the cabin. Hot water from the Volvo's
radiator/cooling system is pumped to the evaporators to provide heating for
passengers.
- water chiller
- control electronics in a box mounted low in the centre of the front wall
of the lower deck. The control board could be an type EUC 057 or similiar.
