Chassis Drawings
I was unable to find a chassis drawing for a B10M Mk I Right Hand Drive (RHD)
bogie (tag axle) variant, therefore I needed multiple drawings to get a sense
of the actual RHD Mark I construction.
- B10M Mk I Lefthand Drive (LHD) Drawing 7-70-29 is the starting point. Obviously for a RHD coach this
is an incorrect driver position, steering mechanism and exhaust, plus the drawing lacks the bogie
details.
- B10M Mk I Lefthand Drive (LHD) Drawing 7-70-29 Forward.
There are two locations for the driver position called 'Normal' and 'Forward'.
This is just the front section of the LHD chassis with the dimensions for the
Forward seating option.
- B10M Mk II RHD Drawing 7-70-38 is a righthand drive but not MK I so
actually is the closest layout at the front with a similar style of bogie axle.
- B10M Mk II LHD Drawing 7-70-39 is a lefthand drive MK II so after comparing to the RHD Mk II it
highlights the changes that need to be made to the LHD Mk I to arrive back to a RHD Mk I configuration.
- B10M Mk III Drawing 7-70-55 just provided out of interest as it has a different style of chassis drawing.
Warnings: The chassis drawings linked to these placeholders
are relatively large – most in excess of 11 MB. To minimise the impact these large files have on web
browsers the high resolution drawings have been placed in ZIP files to force downloading to the harddrive.
In addition, the drawings were
stitched together from different scans, so there are discontinuities in the
drawings.
